RoHS, full name is Restriction of Hazardous Substances, which is a mandatory standard established by EU legislation. RoHS 2.0 Directive(2011/65/EU), was officially implement in 2013 year. The scope of RoHS 2.0 covers almost all products , including plastic film, act as the packaging material in production.

The RoHS 2.0 directive is an environmental protection regulation that aims to restrict the use of hazardous substances in electronic and electrical products to reduce potential harm to human health and the environment.
