The gloss and haze are the important factors of the optical properties of plastic film, which are the great significance for many application fields such as packaging, display, optical devices, etc.

The haze of plastic film refers to the percentage of the transmitted light intensity that deviates from the incident light by more than 2.5° to the total transmitted light intensity. The haze represents the clarity and transparency of transparent film products.

The smoother the surface, the higher the glossiness.
